Achievement of Industries Department under Food Processing Sector

• National Mission on Food Processing (NMFP) Scheme is launched on 1.4.2012-2013 for implementation through States / UTs. For which, Governing Body of State Food Processing Mission under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister with its Executive Committee is constituted and State Level Empowered Committee under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary with its Specific Project Approval Committee (SPAC) under the Chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Industries, to scrutinize / approve application submitted by the food processing entrepreneurs are constituted.

• Assistance to four Units / NGOs are disbursed.

• Organized Food Processing Training cum Awareness Campaign to the 5 (five) district headquarters.
